Natural stone, French pattern

Marble Pavers

Marble pavers in two outdoor finishes, sandblasted and leathered, laid as a French pattern for pool decks, patios and walkways. We stock 4 marble pavers, each 1 1/4 or 2 inches thick and sold by the crate of about 175 square feet. Pavers are quoted rather than sold online: request a quote with your square footage.

marble pavers sandblasted

A refined, textured surface that improves slip resistance.

marble pavers leathered

2 pavers

A soft sheen over a naturally textured surface, also for slip resistance.

Marble pool deck pavers

Every marble paver here is listed for pool decks. Neither finish is polished: sandblasted and leathered marble are both textured, which is what makes marble workable around water.

Aegean White is soft white with cool grey undertones; Santorini White reads grey with soft veining; Amalfi Cream is warm cream and beige with subtle veining; Athena Grey is deep grey and silver. Ask for colour samples of two or three with your quote.

Sandblasted or leathered marble?

Sandblasted marble keeps a smooth, refined look over a textured surface; leathered marble has a soft, textured sheen. Both finishes are there for slip resistance, so the choice is mostly about the look. Lay a sample of each where the deck will go, wet and dry, before you choose.

Where marble pavers works

How to buy marble pavers

  1. Request a quote. The quote button here and on every paver page emails us with the stone named. Add your square footage, timeline and where the pavers are going.
  2. See the colour first. Ask for a sample with your quote; you receive a colour sample, and a full-size piece on request by email.
  3. Order by the crate. One crate covers about 175 square feet; the minimum order is one crate. Choose 1 1/4 or 2 inch thickness, and a single size or the French Pattern Set.
  4. Blend as you lay. Natural stone varies, so open several crates and mix pieces during installation.
  5. Designer or contractor? Open a trade account before you quote a project.

Marble Pavers questions

Can marble pavers be used outdoors and around a pool?

Yes. Each marble paver we stock is listed for pool decks, patios, driveways, walkways and backyards. Both finishes are textured for slip resistance rather than polished.

What is the difference between sandblasted and leathered marble?

Sandblasted marble has a refined, textured surface that improves slip resistance while staying smooth to the eye. Leathered marble has a soft sheen and a naturally textured surface, also for slip resistance. Order a colour sample of each to compare them in your own light.

What sizes and thicknesses do you offer?

Six options: 18x36, 24x24, 16x24, 12x24 and 6x12 inches, or the French Pattern Set, which we ship unless you ask for a single size. Each comes 1 1/4 inch or 2 inch thick.

How much does one crate cover, and is there a minimum?

One crate covers approximately 175 square feet, and the minimum order is one crate.

Will every paver look the same?

No. Marble is a natural stone, so shade, colour and veining vary from piece to piece. Review the material before installation and blend pieces from different crates as you lay them.
